25 year study explores secrets of men who live to 100

The University of Western Australia and Western Australian Centre for Health and Ageing has been exploring “extreme longevity” in a study that spans over twenty year and is the largest in the southern hemisphere.
The ‘Health in Men’ study has followed the health of more than 12,000 Western Australian men as they age for nearly 25 years.
Lead investigator on the study Professor Leon Flicker says some of the “secrets” aren’t so secret.
“It’s probably a lot of the things that people know about already,” he told Liam Bartlett on 6PR Mornings.
“Certainly physical activity has always come out as one of the really strong predictors of living longer.”
