10k carrot to hire older workers

The Seniors Association is welcoming a 10-thousand dollar incentive for businesses to hire older workers but says it won’t work in isolation.
It’s understood tonight’s federal budget will include the program which will see companies given money if they employ someone over the age of 50 for longer than two years.
The Association’s Michael O’Neill says while it’s good news – it’s not enough to solve issues regarding our ageing workforce
