After the massive success of the Highway to Hell at 2020’s Perth Festival, Bon Scott and AC/DC are being celebrated once again at the upcoming High Voltage festival in Fremantle on Sunday 7 May.

Again part of Perth Festival, Southern River Band lead singer Cal Kramer talked to Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast about what the festival means to him and the WA community as a whole.

“I know everything the public could know about Bon Scott, as well as things that I 100 per cent cannot talk about on the air,” Mr Kramer said.

“He was an extremely intelligent man, and you can hear that in his lyrics… people relate to his larrikinism but also how he can talk about the everyday bloke and turn it into some of the best rock’n’roll in the world.”
