A Perth family has been left devastated after an E-Bike battery caught fire and destroyed multiple rooms of their Carine property.

Oliver Peterson of 6PR Perth Live spoke with the blaze victim, Stacy Williams.

“Flames were coming out the side of it and then all of a sudden it exploded,” Ms Williams said.

Ms Williams implored parents to have a discussion with their children on how to handle emergency situations in the home.
