It’s the worst showing by the Wallabies at a World Cup ever, and now some very pointed questions are now being asked of Eddie Jones and Australian rugby union at large.

The Australian rugby union side had their World Cup campaign ended in the pool stage for the first time, losing top Wales 40-6.

Stan’s Rugby World Cup host Nick McArdle told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast failing to make the quarter-finals has left a dark stain on the team.

“All the wrong sorts of records have been broken this morning; it was a shambles,” Mr McArdle said.
