When ANZAC Day ceremonies were cancelled throughout Australia this year, a Perth man wanted to do something special for our veterans after COVID restrictions were lifted so he’s created the Walk With A Veteran event.

Inspired by the 100-year-old British veteran Captain Tom Moore, who fundraised millions of dollars for health workers during the Coronavirus pandemic, Kevin Otway has organised a walking event leading up to Remembrance Day.

“We want everyone to come walk alongside a veteran,” Mr Otway says.
