A WA Police officer who has lost a court battle of vaccine mandates admits he’s unsurprised by the outcome.

Ben Falconer has had his cases against the Chief Health Officer and former Police Commissioner dismissed in the Supreme Court.

Justice Jeremy Allanson found Mr Falconer didn’t have enough evidence to prove there wasn’t no need for mandates.

Falconer has told Liam Bartlett on 6PR Mornings he hopes his court action will help pave the way for amended emergency management legislation.

“I was under no illusion about the risks and odds today,” he said.
