Taxi and car hire companies are being urged to join a class action against Uber which alleges the ride-sharing company broke laws when entering the Australian market.

If you operated as a taxi or hire car driver between 10 October 2014 and 4 July 2016, Maurice Blackburn Lawyers would like to hear from you.

Press PLAY to hear more about the unprecedented class action

Class Actions principal lawyer Michael Donelly told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast hundreds of drivers have already joined the action.

“What we’re doing now is making sure people know that if they want to be eligible for compensation for a mediation occurring in December, they must register now,” Mr Donelly said.
