Two men injured as their boat was reportedly struck by a whale off the Western Australia coast

Simon Miller, DFES District Officer Marine joined Julie-Anne Sprague after two men have been injured after a whale struck their boat off Kalbarri last night.

Water Police and Marine Rescue rushed to their rescue, completed first aid on board the vessel and escorted it back to shore. A 69-year-old and a 39-year-old man were treated by St John WA and taken to Kalbarri Hospital.
