The City of South Perth has rejected a policy to protect mature trees on private properties.

Kathy Lees, Co-founder of South Perth Tree Canopy Advocates spoke to 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Oly on the importance of this policy.

“We’ve got the lowest canopy cover of any Australian capital city and it’s only getting lower,” she said.
