The WA Police Major Crash Investigation Section is investigating after a teenager was killed south of Perth.

The 18-year-old was driving his silver Holden Commodore southbound on Warnbro Sound Avenue near Halliburton Avenue when he crashed into a tree around 7:40pm last night.

The driver – who was the only person in the vehicle – was rushed to Rockingham Hospital but couldn’t be saved.
