Amid record high ambulance ramping in Western Australia, state Opposition Leader Basil Zempilas argues the state government has failed to plan and prepare, and questions the wise use of its record-breaking investment in health.

Zempilas told 6PR Mornings host Simon Beaumont the decision to pay $650,000 a year for another health public servant was a key example of misplaced spending.
“The premier ultimately has to justify bringing in another very highly paid bureaucrat instead of the frontline services which would, could and should make a difference”, he said.
