Australian Traveller has released its top 100 emerging Australian Destinations and Experiences, 13 of which are in WA.

Australian Traveller editor Imogen Eveson told Millsy and Karl 6PR Breakfast those spots that harbour are a unique charm are top contenders.

“By ’emerging’, we mean everything from where the next holiday hotspots are going to be, regions that are on the rise, tiny towns that are on the map because they’ve got a new restaurant that’s opened, but also places that we’ve all heard about,” Ms Eveson said.

“We might be familiar with the name, but they’re actually evolving and maturing, and they’re worth another look.”
