A letter to 6PR Breakfast’s Rumour File tells how a recent patient at Royal Perth Hospital, may be at risk of tuberculosis.

The letter reads: “I may have been ‘in the vicinity of a patient who has now been found to have active tuberculosis'”

“Kath” told 6PR she had received a letter from RPH: “They give you some of the symptoms and talks about the risk of tuberculosis being pretty low but say that they’ll arrange for testing inside two months, which for me will be about the first week of October,” she says.
