Syria could be a 100 year war

Australia may be set to increase its military capacity in the fight against Islamic State militants in Syria.
Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull will have an official one-on-one meeting with the US President tomorrow.
Barack Obama is expected to ask Australia for greater assistance, following a series of French airstrikes against ISIL targets.
Former Chief of Army and Director of the National Security Institute at the University of Canberra Peter Leahy said the conflict in Syria could eventually end up being a 100 year war.
