The presumption of equal shared parental responsibility will be scrapped, in the biggest changes to child custody arrangements since 2006.

The previous list of 15 factors that judges must consider will be simplified to seven.

Family Law Specialist Caroline Counsel told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast cases that end up in front of a judge could be bad news for men.

“I don’t think we’re going to go back to the dark old days of Disneyland dads, alternate weekends and high school holidays,” Ms Counsel said.
