A 24 yr-old Perth man is planning a Guinness World Record penny–farthing ride from Brisbane to Perth.

Dan Hedley has planned a scenic route that will see him ride 6,500km through NSW, Victoria and South Australia before finally tackling the Nullarbor.

But he’s got a bit of a task in his hands.
“70 kilometers is probably the longest I’ve got on it at the moment so it’s going to be a bit of a shock to the body to all of a sudden do the 6,500km,” Mr Hedley told 6PR Breakfast.
