The Australian Nurses Federation and the State Government have finally managed to lay down their arms, coming to an agreement on a pay increase for WA nurses.

Yet ANF WA Secretary Janet Reah admitted to Russell Collett  on Perth Live it still does not reflect the selfless work undertaken by nurses, a sentiment echoed by many who are disappointed with the deal.

“I want your listeners to understand we are in a global nurse shortage,” she said.

“The reason we have a system that still works is because of the goodwill of these nurses.”
