In an effort to remind everyone of the Race That Stops the Nation, those behind the Melbourne Cup will be touring not only the country, but the globe with the trophy in hand.

After a few years of lowered numbers thanks to COVID, the group involved is hoping to breathe new life into the traditional event.

Victoria Racing Club’s CEO Steve Rosich stopped by to give Karl an up-close-and-personal look at the trophy and to spruik this year’s carnival and race.

“It’s not just the world-class racing at Flemington; it’s the fashion, it’s the food, it’s the entertainment,” Mr Rosich said.
