Young COVID Gamblers struggling to kick their new habit
Australian Gambling Research Centre has found young men’s gambling increased dramatically during this years COVID19 lockdowns, and many are now struggling to stop their new habit.
The research found some are spending nearly $400 every month on betting, with many never having gambled prior to the pandemic’s outbreak.
Rod West from Centrecare Gambling Help WA walked the 6PR team through the struggles many young men are facing due to their new addiction.
