Workers needing to travel through the state urged to carry proof of employment

Those travelling through the state as an essential service for work purposes should have something from their employer to show as proof.

Some workers might not be driving in a clearly marked company vehicle and should instead be able to provide an employee ID or letter from work stating the reason why travel is required.

Police Commissioner Chris Dawson told Gareth Parker on Mornings says without it you could run into trouble.
