Two Western Australian infants are recovering in hospital after being diagnosed with meningococcal disease. It takes the total number of cases in the last two weeks in WA up to five and the total number this year to 12 – well above the yearly average. AMA WA Vice President Dr Mark Duncan-Smith said its a worrying trend.
