Telstra’s supplier payment terms ‘unreasonable’: Small Biz Ombudsman

The Small Business ombudsman has hit out at Telstra’s latest payment terms – in which suppliers now have to wait 62 days to be paid.

The telco commits to paying businesses with less than 20 employees within 30 days – however timeframes for other business have been extended – unless they take a discount on their invoices.

Kate Carnell told Gareth Parker on Mornings it’s unreasonable behaviour.
