Some health fund members could see money refunded – if the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact elective procedures.

Claim numbers have dropped with most non-essential surgeries or procedures cancelled – while other extras such as dental are currently not available.

HBF CEO John Van Der Wielen says the overall drop in claims isn’t yet known.
