The State Government is continuing to look into what caused major traffic chaos during the morning peak hour on the Kwinana Freeway yesterday.

Overnight road works Sunday didn’t finish on time – Transport Minister Rita Saffioti told Gareth Parker on Mornings fresh information suggests concrete used for the project was supposed to be quick-setting – and had been used successfully on a nearby job.

She says if that’s the case – the supplier needs to offer a serious explanation.
