A Perth researcher says pill testing at music festivals will save lived after he noticed 99% of users binned pills with unknown substances.

Dr Stephen Bright, a senior lecturer of addiction studies at ECU told 6PR Breakfast: “where they’ve implemented this (pill testing) overseas across Europe they’ve actually seen a decrease in taking drugs rather than an increase, because while the person’s getting their pill  analysed it provides an opportunity to talk to people about their drug use.”
