Local flowers most likely imported

Plenty of roses will be delivered around Perth tomorrow, but where to the flowers actually come from?
One of Perth’s biggest importers of flowers says many will come from Ecuador, Columbia and Kenya.

“To grow quality roses we need cool climates all year round, we need altitude,” Craig Musson from WAFEX told 6PR Breakfast.

“To use a car analogy, if you want a BMW or a Mercedes, they’re probably going to be imported. So, it’s a consumer thing,” he told Steve and Baz.
