With the announcement the owners of Rivers, Noni B and Katies coule be closing hundreds of stores in Australia, the retail industry is having a rough ride in 2020.

With some pointing to poor sales due to the pandemic and the impact of the bushfires, could this be just the beginning of some of our larger retailers being forced to close up shop?

One factor retailers have struggled with is arranging and obtaining rent relief with their landlords.

Retail Expert & CEO of the Retail Solution, Roger Simpson, says Landlords could be facing an extended period of empty stores if this impasse cannot be solved.
