Has ATAR become outdated?

Thirty-seven schools across Australia last week took part in the launch of the New Metrics project – a style of learning and assessment which is part of the “paradigm shift” away from ATAR as a measurement tool.

All Saints’ College is the only WA school to join the program and Dean of Teching and Learning Esther Hill joined Liam Bartlett to explain why the school believes it is a step in the right direction for education.
