Gardening for good with Dementia, aged care and disability support group Chorus

Tomorrow, September 21st, is Dementia Awareness Day, part of Dementia month, aimed at raising awareness of the issues surrounding this debilitating condition.

Jackie Creighan’s husband Andy was diagnosed with early onset Dementia five years ago and their lives changed. Now, Andy volunteers as a gardener with Chorus, a support organisation working with many Dementia sufferers to help them live their best lives.

Jackie came into the studio along with Chorus Spokesperson Louise Forster to discuss Dementia, living with it and living through it, along with the work Andy does as a volunteer.
