Empty carpark costs over $20 million

The State Government has announced an audit will be carried out on a private contract with Capella, who operates the Perth Children’s Hospital car park, which is currently going unused.

A Special Inquiry earlier this week found more than $20 million has already been spent on  compensation to the private operator.

Health Minister Roger Cook admits the audit won’t identify the bureaucrats responsible for drafting the contract. He joined Oliver Peterson on Perth LIVE.
