Back from the dead: how a mate’s life was saved

Millsy & Karl

Les Lindsey went for a swim at Trigg Beach last month only to come out of the water feeling faint, it was only moments later he wasn’t breathing, but thankfully his mate, an ex paramedic, was at the scene.

Both Mr Lindsey and Mike Deephouse are long term members of the Trigg Surf Life Saving Club, and they tell the intriguing story of how a mate’s life was saved.

Mr Lindsey called out to Mike Deephouse just before he collapsed to the ground and blacked out,  “I face planted the beach and that’s all I can really remember,” Mr Lindsey shared with Steve and Baz and says he’s now only 25 days old.
