South Australian temperatures are set to soar up to 49 degrees today, with the City centre heading for a top of 45 degrees, one pub has embraced the hot weather and offered up free beer.

Stephen Firth is the venue manager at Red Lion Hotel and told 6PR Breakfast they will give away free beers if the temperature reaches the forecasted top.

The Bureau of Meterology in South Australia also joined Steve and Baz about why they’re experiencing such high temperatures.
