Five alleged gang members have received a slew of charges after police say they found large amounts of methamphetamines and cocaine in various Perth properties.

The five – including one who police say is a senior member of the Lone Wolf Outlaw Motorcycle Gang and another who is an alleged associate of the Rebels – were reportedly part of an emerging criminal network.

Nine News and 6PR Reporter Anne Barclay told Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings police are keen to crack down on what may be seen as lucrative opportunities for criminal gangs in WA.

“Police are quite confident this is going to throw a bit of a spanner in the works,” Ms Barclay said.
