Like many parents, one dad is sick of the school holiday rush – and is arguing parents should be able to decide when holidays should be to avoid it.

Sydney Morning Herald contributor and father Brad Emery told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast the regular school holidays are anything but relaxing for families.

“Especially in the early years, even though education is important, we’re not learning for sheep stations here,” Mr Emery said.
