Nats take aim at Cook Government’s contract ‘mismanagement blowout’

WA Nationals Leader Shane Love has used the State Budget as a launching pad for renewed policy, saying he aims to bring down the Labor Government’s excessive cost blowouts.

Mr Love also took aim at the apparently stalled Tom Price Hospital project, calling it an example of the Cook Government’s contract mismanagement.

“They’ve blown about $40 billion of money that’s been in surplus,” he said.

“And if you look around, can you see $40 billion? I think West Australians have been left scratching their heads.”
