The mother of a 12-year-old is appealing to the Perth community for any information on who is responsible for leaving her 12-year-old daughter in a wheelchair.

Alexis Lloyd was run over by a white hatchback in front of Willetton Senior High School at around 8.30am on Tuesday morning while crossing the street.

Alexis’ mother Tory Carter told Jo McManus onĀ 6PR Afternoons it was “disappointing” no-one had yet come forward about the incident.

“In the space of me dropping her off and then driving to the other side of the car park, I got a phone call form one of the teachers saying she’d been hit by a car,” Ms Carter said.
