The Australian women’s soccer team has made a strong statement 100 days out from the Women’s World Cup, upsetting the Lionesses with a 2-0 win.

Nine News sports reporter Mark Readings told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast the Matildas continued a groundbreaking record of being unbeaten in 30 matches.

“It was a warm-up match last night so let’s not get ahead of ourselves, but you’d rather be winning them than not,” Mr Readings said.
