A major explosion at a warehouse has rocked residents in and around Bibra Lake, as well as triggering a hazmat warning.

Firefighters have managed to contain the fire, but say it’s not controlled. Locals should keep doors and windows closed, and avoid the area.

6PR Reporter Jessica Shackleton told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast emergency services are worried about potential future explosions.

“As soon as you turn on to Bibra Lake Drive, you can smell it; there’s still plenty of smoke in the air,” Ms Shackleton said.
