The first unrestricted Anzac Day Dawn Service at the State War Memorial has seen thousands brave the cold weather to remember the soldiers who served us – returned, lost and fallen.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

RSL WA State President Duncan Anderson read The Ode before the Last Post.
