Kmart introduces smart reciepts

Simon Beaumont

Kmart is introducing new technology which will promote digital smart receipts instead of paper receipts.

The tech platform being introduced is called Slyp, a bank-integrated system where people can store and receive digital receipts in their existing banking app.

Professor of marketing and consumer behaviour at Queensland University of Technology Gary Mortimer told 6PR Mornings host Gary Adshead Kmart is not the first retailer to use Slyp.

“Slyp is being used in a number of retailers already,” said Professor Mortimer.
