A Perth school tech expert has encouraged teachers to embrace Pokemon Go in the classroom, as students return to school this week.

The Nintendo created app has taken the world by storm, with students spending much of the school holidays trawling the street of Perth, trying to ‘catch ’em all’.

Gary Adshead is concerned students will be distracted by the fad and thinks Pokemon Go should be banned at school.

Tech expert Skye Moroney has told the 6PR Morning Show that students could benefit from including Pokemon Go in the classroom.
