Historic data to help whales

WA’s whaling industry may have come to an abrupt end in 1978, but data from that time is now being used to learn more about the creatures.
The irony was not lost on University of Tasmania researcher Lyn Irvine, who explained the findings to 6PR’s Chris Ilsley.
