Childhood experts are urging to go outside with their kids, with more and more research showing many developmental problems are related to children being glued to their screens.

Nature Play WA CEO Kelsie Prabawa-Sear told Mick and Gena on 6PR Breakfast the more time kids spend outside, the less likely they are to face mental health issues.

“There is a lot of research that shows for kids, even being able to see trees and greenery is better for their mental health and wellbeing,” Dr Prabawa-Sear said.
