Barry Humphries is reportedly in “absolute agony” after suffering complications following hip surgery.

The man behind Dame Edna Everage slipped on a rug six weeks ago and was rushed to hospital, where his condition has declined since.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast that many were concerned about the Humphries’ health.

“We want Barry to keep on fighting, but this is a serious situation,” Mr Ford said.
