BBL action came to GMHBA Stadium for the first time on Wednesday night and Dean Jones was left impressed with the setup for cricket.

The former Australia cricketer told Macquarie Cricket more games could be scheduled at the 34,000-capacity venue as BBL cricket expand into the future.

“This is terrific,” Deano said.

“I’m so impressed with how they’ve put everything on down here.”
