The Christmas dinner is hardly complete without the traditional turkey and the turkey industry can barely keep up with the demand. 

The president of the Australasian Turkey Federation spoke with Chrissy Morrissy about his beloved turkeys. 

‘They’re shockers. I used to be a shearer and a lot of people say that sheep are the dumbest thing on earth, well, I reckon a sheep’s intelligence is like Einstein compared to a turkey,’ John Watson said. 

And what will Mr Watson be eating on Christmas Day? 
‘I’m a bit of a fan of oysters actually, so oysters and prawns’
