GAME DAY: Hawks hit Freo hard

The Hawks have hit the Dockers hard by handing Fremantle their eighth straight loss this season.
Fremantle showed promising signs with a strong defensive game to start and a two-point lead at half time, but the Hawks kicked eight unanswered goals in the third term to run out 41-point winners, 17.14 (116) 11.9 (75).

Fremantle got off to a flying start with first goal on the board and they continued their run well into the second term, but the Hawks took control of the game after the main break with the usual suspects making an impact on the scoreboard.
Michael Walters was Fremantle’s only multiple goal kicker with his two majors and Mundy moved around the ground for his 29 disposals and goal.
