Animal activists have launched what they’re calling a national day of protest. Although Melbourne seems to be the hardest hit with protesters causing chaos on tram lines, the Farmer’s Federation says farmers nationwide need to be aware.

The President of the National Farmers’ Federation says these groups act in secrecy but the Police have been very helpful in sharing information.

“We’ve got a few leads but no specific intel about what’s happening in the West but we do know that they are planning on these so-called “actions” across Australia and we do know that they’re targeting farms, they’re targeting businesses and that they’re targeting families,” Fiona Simpson told 6PR Breakfast.
