The founder of Bravehearts Inc has called for a Royal Commission into the Family Court system in Australia and slammed the system as the ‘most dangerous institution for children’.

Hetty Johnston has today launched Abbey’s Project, a privately-funded inquiry that will investigate the experiences, testimony and outcomes for families and other stakeholders, in their dealings with the Family Courts.

Hetty Johnston has told Gary Adshead the entire system need to be rebuilt from the ground up, with some of her clients, as young as 6 and 10 years of age, contemplating suicide.
